Getting Ready for Farmer's Market

I have been running around today and trying to get everything together for the Farmer's Market event I am doing tomorrow. I had planned on going and then got called to Lafayette to babysit my granddaughter, but decided that I needed to try and make this market since it is the last one of the month.
I had to go to town to find some durable rope to hang my new banner with. It came in quickly and I was very surprised and happy about that. It will hang at the top of my tent so people can find me. All it says is Farmasi in big bold letters and under the name is my website address.
I also had to get a receipt book, change from the bank, a little notebook for special orders, notes, sample requests, etc.
I think I have everything I need now and I am just still working on pricing some of the items that are not common to save time tomorrow. Then I will put all this stuff in the car and be ready to roll early in the morning. I loaded my tables Wednesday after cleaning them.
That is what I have been up to today. What did you do today?

Hope you do good there. I have an almost finished hoodie for Monster done today. It hopefully just needs a zipper and pockets. I need to try it on her before I put the zipper in to make sure all my adjustments are good. I was working off a size medium in womens for a pattern. I think I have it so it will look good on her. Fingers crossed

@wolfgirl569 She got to come home after second round of antibiotics around 3:45 am. She said she is feeling better today and hasn't had to take any pain medicine today.

Your discussion reminded me that I have not been to a farmer's market in quite a while. I really need to go again, as I always enjoy strolling around visiting all the booths and tents. Plus, I always like supporting the "little guy" or locals.
Hope everything goes well for you at the market!

Exactly! I'd rather buy at a farmer's market and get fresh produce vs. grocery store. There was only a couple of people with fresh produce here, but several with jams and jellies, picked goodies, etc. And the food trucks were amazing. We got a smoked rib plate for lunch that was great. They were only $10 and put to shame all the places that served ribs in the area. Their homemade BQ sauce was also very good. I wanted a jar of it but they were not selling it. Maybe I gave them a new idea.

@kareng If enough people ask for their BBQ sauce, then theyd be stupid not to sell it.

I had an uneventful day until the end (with the tornado warning I detailed elsewhere). I hope to have an uneventful day with NO tornado warning to disrupt the evening today.
