Received a gift certificate for Christmas. It was for Fossil Farms all natural meats. I thought oh my, I will never use this. But I placed an order.
One item was for pork chops. They have Berkshire pork. No antibiotics, steroids and hormones are ever used. The package came in dry ice, well sealed and well packaged. Very impressive.
Cooked the pork chops today in the slow cooker. Oh my goodness are they ever good. The meat literally falls off the bone. Did not even need a knife. I added potatoes along with cream of mushroom soup and other seasonings.
It has been cooking on low for 8 hours. Low and slow were the directions. It tastes like a pork roast. The most tender meat I have ever had. Can't wait to order more.
Photo is mine. I made toast to have with it as well.

They sound awesome. I haven't been in a butcher shop for years, but there is one that I just found out about last month called "The Meat Hook." I think they sell alot of local meats. I may trot down there sometime this week and check it out. (Besides gas is always cheap in that area.)

It does sound good, but I do not eat very much pork anymore.
