This is the last book in the Ravenwood Coven trilogy by Carrie Ann Ryan. The whole series has been amazing but my favorite so far has still been the first one, Dawn Awakening. This was definitely a way to end a trilogy though. The coven has found their mates and their forever. Sage with Rome, Laurel with Jaxton. It should have been perfect when Ash came back to town, Rowen's mate. The love of her life. It wasn't. It wasn't even close to a dream come true. After forging the mating bond, the Prince curse took Ash's soul that night. With his soul gone, the bond shattered. Without his soul, the words that came from his mouth, the ones that crippled everyone he knew before left, didn't effect him in the least. Throughout the years, he was a heartless man that made a fortune out of buying and selling companies no matter what. His sister tried to keep him somewhat on the straight and narrow but Ash still did things that he wouldn't have been proud of with his soul intact. When they've finally run out of options, the spell to break the curse and give Ash his soul back is agreed on. If unsuccessful, Ash could die but if it is...well, the ball game has changed. With a stroke of luck, the spell works but instead of making things easier, it turns more complicated. So much more complicated and they just don't have the time to deal. Rowen's half brother, who has been turning the Ravenwood wards against her, is finally making his move. The big all or nothing move for the power at the center of town. It hurts her that it's her own blood that she's going up against but the coven finally convinces Rowen that she's not alone. She has the coven beside her and the town citizens at her back. It's now or never and things will never be the same. *picture from google

@JordanLader Yes, I've got loads of books to read. (Not all vampire ones!) It's going to take me ages, maybe years, to get through them all!
