Bad Weather Day: Thunderstorms and Tornadoes Possible

I don't know how much I will be online today as a massive storm is coming through. We have a strong system passing through with heavy rain, and tornadoes possible through the evening hours today. I just checked the radar and this system is coming in from the Gulf of Mexico and moving slowly in a north eastern direction. I think we will have the heavy rain in about an hour or less. There is a huge dark red blog on radar fixing to hit my area. I'll be back later when I can. For those of you in the storm's path, stay safe! Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

It was a lively afternoon with thunder and lightning! I was hoping to catch up today here but that didn't happen with the internet out all afternoon.

We started getting thunderstorms last night. The forecast calls for rain all day today, tonight and tomorrow. It's still lightning and thundering here. (I told Pretty to stop making so much noise last night. She told me she likes bothering me like that. )

@kareng Pretty came to my room and asked why so many trains were switching cars at the train yard last night. I told her it was thunder in the distance but she was right, it did sound just like trains trading cars around. The lightning was really pretty, though.

It finally moved through and the tornado watch was lifted around 7 pm tonight. I'm glad to have my internet back up!

Not really. We were fine. Just some heavy rain, thunder and lightning all afternoon long. Tornado watch ended at 7 pm tonight. That was about when the rain moved out too.

Yes, we made it through the storm just fine. Had to do some shopping to get door fixed (see latest post). Another pain in the you know where!!
