My Netflix Fix

It wasn't even 7 p.m. yet and I had already gotten my Netflix fix. First I watched a documentary series entitled "Surviving Death". It was very good. My cup of tea. All about after-death experiences, mediums, and reincarnation. The reincarnation episode was astounding. Stories of young boys who, at a very early age had memories of a previous life. A doctor that does research in this area would interview them. He found several cases where he could verify the name and events the child expressed as actual people and occurrences. I didn't know that there were different kinds of medium and that segment was interesting as well. The stories of near-death experiences were very heartwarming and really makes a person realize how astounding our lives and bodies are. Then I watched a movie called "Without Saying Goodbye". It was a romance about an architect and an artist. It was filmed in Cusco, Peru. Beautiful country and interesting culture. The actors were very attractive and the entire storyline captivating and entertaining. I won't tell you more. Hope you go watch it. It was good. Have you seen any interesting movies lately?

Many of the old ones hold true to the importance of ethics and such and, I enjoy that.

@celticeagle Old movies had no "special effects" the stories were more important. Now there is a lot of violence and special effects and nothing more.

Right now I am posting about 2 'must see' movies---both 'foreign'---I fell in love with movies when I was very young and they took me to lands I thought I would never see---they still do!

We no longer have Netfllix. I've watched many movies lately, including the remake of West Side Story. I prefer the original.

@GreatMartin ......I am an original person myself. Usually, remakes are too modern.

@celticeagle Most remakes are not as good as the original---this is an exception!!
