Those Silly Chipmunks

Remember The Chipmunks? Back in 2009 my daughter and I took my grandson to see The Squeakquel. Cute. We got the 3D glasses and it did step it up a bit. They started out in 1958 as an animated virtual band developed by Ross Bagdasarian after a request from Liberty Records. They were comprised of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. They had been named, as an inside joke, after executives at Liberty Records. Alvin was named after Al Bennett, Simon after Si Waronker, and, Theodore after Ted Keep. Mischievous and silly.
