Face-to-face classes, oh no!

I start classes this week. They will be face-to-face, and to be honest. I don't feel ready for it. But, anyway, I will be looking forward to it. I will study hard and do well in my classes. What do you guys have to say? What's new in your lives?

Here also last week is the start of limited face to face classes. I think it is fun to be back in real school

I've just learnt that my friend has covid. She has had all her vaccinations so I do hope she will be okay. You stay safe too and good luck with your classes.

I can understand and I agree, it is too early to open up everything, I am concerned.

I don't really understand what the problem is. What are you afraid of? Can you elaborate a bit, please?

I guess so much long distance and virtual communication has made you less confident about face to face classes .It might be a natural reaction with people who are generally shy, myself included.

You have been online for how long? If you haven't been face-to-face for two years, it'll be a change, but hopefully a good one. We've been back in the classrooms in school since May 2020, and university since autumn 2020. A bit on and off for both, most for university, but if they send us back online, I might call in sick. Teaching online classes is rather horrible IMO.

I am happy being back at work after a one week layoff after my relatives and myself had to move on two weeks notice after the housing authority ordered all tenants to leave the neighborhood due to mold conditions inside of the area after hurricanes Laura and Delta hit the area in 2020.

It's just the initial hesitation for the change. Everyone is so used to online virtual classes in this pandemic that many are a bit uncomfortable with physical classes. But once you are there, you might like it better than online classes
