The list for me is quite long of stupid things I have done, but since we are talking about coffee I will stick with that. No kidding, last week my wife was rinsing out the coffee pot a bit (I told her don't dare use soap). Meanwhile I was setting up the grounds and pushed the program button for coffee to brew at a set time the next morning. I THOUGHT she would have filled the reservoir but instead she set the empty carafe back onto the pot. In my coffee deprived daze the next morning I quickly realized I only brewed a pot of hot air. lol

A lots of stupid moments here with me. And I am so stupid that I can't remember one right now

. I have learnt it that I don't take my hot beverages in glasses without handles. I am poor at holding glasses with paper or clothes wrapped around. I have broken few glasses doing that.

@TheHorse I am incarnate. The elder flat I am buying is just 530 sft carpet area. I am still going ahead with it...because I need somebody to take me to hospitals when I grow old and do the needful such as follow up with insurance and get nurses to attend to me. I will, however, shift there only after six or seven years or when Dad is willing to shift.

Why? If he does something stupid, he deserves to be called that. If he cannot handle it, he should be the one who is dropped. SMH. That girl was honest. A dishonest girl would have thought... that is stupid...but let me ignore that... because he has lots of money. I definitely would not trust a person who was not so honest with me.

@xander6464 Like sacrificial lamb? Reminds me, Indian government is giving diesel to Shri Lanka. I am kinda...what!!! Ukrainians are dying, inflation can be managed. Instead of eating four slices, I could eat two and live another day, but these people cannot survive in that war zone. Are we playing god ..we will favor Shri Lankans over Ukranians? Surely, the right thing would be to stop purchasing or reduce purchases..if the oil is not being used for the country. So much for sacrifices...that are done without any thinking.

Yup, things we do just automatically don't always work out as they should, I have my moments like using my oven mitt to take out something hot from the toaster oven and then after putting it on a plate reaching for the tray to put it back in the oven but without the mitt and then saying to myself you silly that is still going to be too hot to touch,
