It's yet another Monday and I have to say that I am still in a good mood from yesterday. It was a very busy weekend but it was pretty productive. On Friday, I took the day off of work to run an errand with my parents and bake a cake for a cake auction Saturday. I have to say that it turned out pretty well. One of the errands though was to hobby lobby and I kind of went craft crazy. I bought a few bigger canvases and new paint. I'm going to try a new size of heat transfer wrap specific for mugs and I found a few new vinyl colors. I spent too much but that's ok. I sold a wine rack and a canvas to a friend yesterday which made me happy. I have a few new ideas that I can't wait to get started on but I have to wait. A few things need to be done first. Saturday was wildland training. It was fun and I heard rumor that there may be some wildland spots opening up in our department so I'm excited. After training we had to get ready for the cake auction. It was to support emergency services in the county. It's the organization that delivers the meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My cake brought in $55 so I was happy to help. Next year I'll do better though, now that I know what to expect. I can do better than what I put up there, I was just running low on time. Yesterday was a big errand day and a garden day. We got most of what was needed for the garden. There's probably going to be a few more things here and there to get but the majority is now done. We got my rabbit's grave re-done with mulch and pop's headstone clear coated. All of my plants are doing awesome and I still have a few more to plant. I now have a lemon tree. It's a patio lemon tree but it's cute and it's mine and I can't wait for it to produce lol. We went to a friend's son's girlfriend's birthday party yesterday which meant I got to see a new park. It was held in Rock Island park and it was gorgeous. We walked a trail about half way and saw multiple waterfalls of all different sizes. I even got to see the dam. It was just a really good day. Today is right back to work. I'm hoping to get all the computer work done like I've been doing. I have a goal this year, the new tax law be d***ed. I really want to meet these goals. I also want to hit outside around 2, when I cut off my work day. There are some things that I can do by myself out there and I can help. I can plan some things out as well. Both animals need cleaned so I need to make time for that today or tomorrow. I know that my hubby wants to help but it'll depend on his work. Our friend is expecting ducks soon and she wants to give me some but I'm not going to just put them in the front yard. I need to get the land cleared and something decent put up. I have coyotes...she doesn't have the woods like I do around the house. Oh there's just so much going on and it's going to get worse as the summer goes on lol. What is everyone else up to?
