I need to get busy

My mornings do not seem to be long enough for all I want to do. I got up at 5:00 after having a work related dream.
For breakfast I made a home made breakfast casserole. Toast with a portion of egg casserole and some bacon. Mayonnaise to make it really yummy.
The big deal I need to get done is to make hubby's nutrition drink for the week.
I am taking sandwiches for lunch all week this week. Plus fruit and snacky things.
According to those who count we have seven more weeks of school. Kids will have field trips, and four different kinds of state tests, and there will be a field day where they play games all day at school.
I am tired thinking of it. But it is still one day at a time. My student does not have the cognitive ability to take part in the testing. I just have to stay out of the resource room so he does not distract others.
I imagine he and I will do a lot of outdoor stuff as we get the chance, just because we can, and it is fun.

It's storming here with lots of thunder and lightning. We'll be staying inside all day today. The drainage ditch at the end of the yard is full right now. I'm sure some streets in town are flooded.

No big plans, just little ones, like maybe going outside and checking on the garden, if the sun stays out. It's currently 4°C but supposed to get up to 16°, but also supposed to rain.

I do hope your day goes well. I'm sure it's not always easy.
At the moment, it's a bit after 8 and I'm at work. I'm here until noon. I have a few things that I want to work on today. I'll see how much I can do. Do my best. I'll be picking my kids this afternoon and then just chilling with them this evening.
