So my friend's favorite place she and I went on vacation was The Awesome 80s Show. Being in Branson, Missouri, you just have to go to a couple of shows. My friend didn't want to go to a night show because of how tricky it can be to get around if you're not familiar with the place, and this was her first time. I'm not familiar with 80s music as I am with other types of music, but you didn't have to be to love this show. And we loved it! From soundtracks like Dirty Dancing (2 performers even did the iconic dance from the end of the movie) and Flashdance to The Pointer Sisters, Tiffany, Rick Springfield, and Michael Jackson, they covered it all. Complete with costumes, 80s hair, and spot on dancing, I was glad my friend suggested it. This show was at 2pm, so there weren't as many people there as most shows, but everyone there loved it. My friend even got her picture taken with the cast after the show was over. I was so impressed at their stamina, because it was a lot of dancing! The picture is of a screen inside the theater.

I've been there, several times. Some of the shows are good. I like most types of music, but sometimes country gets too twangy for me. I did not like the feeling of being overcrowded, everywhere we went there was way, way too busy with too many people way too close together, and yes this was before Covid hit. People running madly from shop to shop and the main drag traffic barely moving. Waiting in lines for bathrooms. But to each his own, we all like different things, glad you had a nice time!

It's definitely less crowded because of Covid. Nowhere we went had any lines, and this was also spring break. I like country, but my friend didn't so we found other things to do besides country shows. Our family used to go once a year, every year, and we always had fun. The last time my dad went though, a couple of his favorite shows he just didn't enjoy. I was so glad this show was so good. Two years ago my friend and I had plans to go to Branson, but the very morning we were set to leave the whole country went on lockdown.

I think you would have too. If me and my friend had been farther back in the empty seats we would have been up, dancing. I don't dance, but it made me want to!

It didn't have a specific plot, but it was all music and dancing, with some narration throughout.

Being one who mostly grew up on 80s music, I probably would have enjoyed the show.
