Spring and flowers go together like bees and honey. And so does love and this flower. Do you know what flower I'm talking about? Well, the "Rose" of course. So, we'll continue our musical trivia challenge with this symbol of love. A dozen of these flowers will surely cheer a person up whether given on Valentine's Day or just to say I love you. And here is Vic Dana's version of love with his tune "Red Roses for a Blue Lady." She's the sweetest girl in town! Enjoy this romantic make up tune while you tackle those clues... (Remember words in quotations do provide hints to the music trivia answers) Whodunnit- Name that tune or artist: 1. This musician's most celebrated song was released in 1994 and reached #1 on the Billboard charts only after movie audiences heard it played on the film "Batman Forever." In his personal life this singer "married swimsuit model Heidi Klum" in 2005. The artist is known by just "one name" it's the same one as an "animal which lives in the Arctic and Antarctic waters, eats mainly fish, and has flippers." -Do you know this romantic sounding "Rose song" and the artist who sang it? 2. This lady singer who is one of the most successful recording artists of all-time released this "rose titled tune" in 1975. She is of Mexican heritage and is known as the "First Lady of Rock," but has covered many genres in her career including pop, country, folk, Latin and Broadway. In this song the singer compares love to a rose but warns that "you better not pick it because love only grows when it's on the vine." The idea being once it's picked the flower (love) may die and your left with a broken relationship (thorns) instead. This singer's career started with the group the "Stone Poneys" before she eventually went solo. She is known for such hits as "Your No Good," "Different Drum" and "When Will I Be Loved." to name a few. -Do you know this female singer and her rose-titled love song? 3. (Bonus) This artist with the "falsetto voice and ukulele" became well known after recording and playing "this song in 1968." His "marriage to Miss Vicki" on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson on December 17, 1969, drew a viewing audience of 40 million people. -Do you know who this shy performer is and the name of his flower titled song?
