Guess I'm getting a new dishwasher

I have been without a working dishwasher for about a month now. I've seen maintenance men here twice. The head guy said that they were going to order replacement parts for the drain but that they might be delayed due to supply chain issues.
I called the management office today just to find out what was up. The girl I spoke to said that the maintenance man has ordered a new dishwasher. I told her that I saw them installing a stainless steel dishwasher a couple of weeks ago in an apartment downstairs. It is one of the bigger ones but they are bigger in on meaningful way. Slightly larger living space and a ceiling fan.
Soooo I'm getting a cheapo new dishwasher. Whatever. I just want something that will work. I just hope it gets here soon.

Even though it's cheap, it can at least get the job done and reduce your workload. I hope you'll like it.

We don't have a dishwasher. I actually enjoy washing up by hand. I like having my hands in the warm soapy water!

From what I've seen locally appliance availability isn't nearly as big an issue as it used to be or as getting parts in currently is. The biggest factor in delivery time seems to be the availability of appointments after they arrive at the store. I hope the same is true in your area and they're able to get it to you before too much more time passes. Doing dishes by hand sucks.

Most of our families don't have dishwashers here. I hope your dishwasher will come soon, which can reduce your physical labor

I know that feeling. I would use a cheapo one if I had it. I would like a mid line one, I guess. I hope you get yours soon.

The dishwasher is not a very popular appliance here in our place. That is why I got very curious when I was there in your country. looks like a washing machine except that you place the dishes instead of the clothes. Nice appliance for those that use plates and kitchenware.

Good Luck with your dish washer. I have opted out of it as some vessels I am told will not fit in there especially the pressure cooker. Also one has to first rinse out the vessels before putting them there.

I hope it arrives soon. I will admit to being spoiled and enjoying my dishwasher. I usually run it every other day, if I have no company, or every day if needed. I've washed my share and then some, I don't want to wash them all anymore.
