Opened my Target email. Sale this week features Pink Lady apples, 3# for 4.99. I just found out about it from another member, Anna. Until Anna mentioned Pink Lady apples, I've never heard of them before. Safeway has honey crisp apples in their ad today, is the last day of sale. It's a bit drizzly and overcast, with blue skies peering through. So another time for honey crisp apples. Target has Pink Lady apples a 3# bag, way too much for me. I'll have to inspect it first, before I buy and try. I hope I get drier weather for shopping soon.

@rebelann NO, they are not pink inside, the outside is more red than pink. The apples were created crossing the Golden Delicious and Lady Williams apple varieties.

My daughter's favorite apples are Pink Lady apples! Stores out here they can be bought by the pound (though the bags are better deals if you can eat that much). Honey crisp is good too!

@LadyDuck My daughter likes the crispiness of it . . . and it's ever so slightly tart but still sweet. They seem to last pretty well too.

Pink Lady apples were first developed in Australia and there are acres of trees of them in the area where we used to live. They are one of my favourite varieties.

I've seen the pink lady Apples before and I'm sure I've tried them but can't remember. My favorite apples are Spartan apples.

They're crisp, sour and juicy. My choice for apples. I dip the cut pieces in salt to eat.

I don't care for the really crisp apples. I like McIntosh or Rome (which I can no longer find). I will eat a Gala apple on occasion. I hope you get good shopping weather soon.
