Good News: Purchase Agreement

We got a bit of good news last week along with the bad news of my mother's passing. We got a verbal agreement for purchase agreement on our house in Louisiana! Yesterday we got the signed document and signed and sent back today.
We have been talking to a few people on the phone that wanted to make offers on the house. Most are way below the price we would consider in letting the house go before repairing it. However, this company made a good offer that was almost to the figure my husband came up with to sell as is.
I told him to give a counter offer and make it above what we actually want for the house so the new offer will be at the price we want. The final price actually came back a bit higher than we had our mind set to. So all is good.
We will be doing a walk through with them this coming Monday. So it is now time to get everything we want out of the house! But, I am glad we don't have to labor over fixing it. I think that would be a bit much for my hubby to take on.
Keep your fingers crossed for us that the sale goes through!

I am a vendor for the makeup I sell in a boutique. We have clothing for teens, ladies, plus sizes, pre-teen, children, and babies along with lots of gifts: candles, handmade soap, air fresheners, wreaths, Louisiana themed items, mugs, jewelry, purses, shoes, makeup, etc. We also do custom orders for embroidery, door mats, etc.
