I went to the bank today, then came back and stopped at the Hallmark store for Mother's Day gifts for a couple of people. I went to the counter, and I hadn't renewed my checks after I used the last one in the book, and neither did I bring a credit card with me, so the young lady at the register "suspended" (I guess that means, "put on hold"?) my purchase in the register, and then I went home to get a new checkbook, after which I turned around and back went back to the Hallmark store to buy a the things I'd meant to buy. I made a couple of other short stops on my trip out, but if I related those this post might be book-length, so... Now I need to eat lunch and see if Angel would like to go for a walk, as she didn't seem interested when I asked her before I left.

I hope she'll want a walk at some point. She seems like a good Dog. I've forgotten things before.

@xstitcher She probably enjoyed the visit more than the walk, itself.

She did. We ran into one of her dog friends while we were out, too.

It seems you had a day of it going back and forth. My favorite Hallmark story is the time I presented my credit card to the girl behind the counter and her eyes opened wide in panic. She asked for my driver's license, which I am always glad to show. Her panic eased somewhat and she explained that her father-in-law has the exact same name as mine.

@xstitcher If that's not weird enough, her brother-in-law was a junior.
