Made A Transportation Decision

I have about $40 left on my health care credit card that I can use for transportation. I have no other means of transportation to and from my doctor's appointments. I really enjoyed the positive experience I had with the two Uber drivers I used getting to and home from my doctor's appointment on Monday. I think what I am going to do is work on surveys and such online at the websites I utilize until I have enough for Uber Gift cards/vouchers. This last time I only used a few dollars because I had a $10 dollar card.
I have a pre-op appointment coming up one week or so before my cataract appointment. The pre-op is up on Curtis and only about 9.0 miles round trip. Then the cataract surgery will probably be done at the Meridian office which would be about 18 miles round trip. That is going to add up to about $48 for the fair. And, there may be an appointment a week or two afterward to see how the eye is doing. Another $16. With the help of gift cards/vouchers, I will just squeeze by with enough $$.
I do so hope that Uber continues to do so well for me.

Good luck with all that.
I got a letter Friday saying my appointment (May 6) was cancelled because "Dr Patricia Harvey has taken a leave of absence from her practice due to medical reasons." And they're not rescheduling appointments "at this time."

@celticeagle The letter said I should contact my optometrist if I was "having any eye issues." Fat lot of good that'll do. My optometrist referred me to an opthalmologist who referred me to the eye clinic at the hospital in another town...

Yes, or wait until the next quarter in July.

@celticeagle Yeah, and that's not always possible. I know, scheduling is a royal pain.

@kaylachan ......Sure is. Wish all my appointments were right here in my area and not clear across town or the next town.
