It was way too quiet

You know how it goes, right? You're busy doing things or posting stuff online and you don't pay really close attention at the quietness.
Usually Meetzee is walking around looking for one thing or another or just being annoying by enticing Roscoe to chase her. I really didn't pay much attention to the calm morning then it dawned on me, it was too quiet.
I know she was walking around overnight cuz she followed me into the bathroom when I had to go but she didn't say anything, usually she'd meow or something.
When I called for her to come she didn't show up, that's when I knew I had to look for her. Mom's kitty found a hiding place and passed away sometime this morning. 
She had a long life. She was somewhere between 17 and 19 years old and spent most of her life happily living with mom and had a wonderful backyard in the daytime and indoors with mom at night then in 2016 after mom passed I brought her here and she along with her buddy Max lived out their lives in my home.
Hopefully she's on that side of the rainbow with Max and Mom, I know that's where she wanted to be.
R.I.P. Meetzee.

@rebelann You did the very best you could. From were I sit, you are/were an excellent Mom to all of them. The Dude has taken second fiddle to Brendel since day one. That is the only what it works. But he does not go without anything.

Sorry about your loss, 18 is standard for most cats so she had a nice long life. It's not fun finding them though.

@rebelann Cats are really good at hiding how they feel. And, when it's their time they usually do something to say 'goodbye'.

Did she have plenty of water to drink? Maybe she was looking for some water, she was very old! Precious girl, she was a sweetheart:) Now Meetzee is with Kobe, my sweet boy!

Oh poor Meetze, but as you said it seems she lived a good long life. I think cats that live a long time, are pretty content with their lot in life...kind of like people.

Oh, how sad! So sorry to hear this news. It's like she has a sixth sense it was time and decided to find a quiet resting place to pass peacefully.
