Blessed but Stressed

Let me preface this by saying that I am extremely blessed to have a fairly large family.
Mother's Day is coming soon and here's where the stressed comes in.
My oldest daughter and son in law just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary (they didn't want a party) and my youngest daughter will be celebrating her 50th birthday right after Mothers Day.
So since we all intend to be together for Mothers Day neither is suspecting that we're going to also celebrate their milestones. The rest of the family does.
The tricky part is keeping my mouth shut and not spilling the beans.
My oldest daughter (the anniversary person) is the one planning the surprise for the birthday part. My daughter in law is planning the anniversary part.
The confusing part for me is I have to make sure that I'm talking to the right person about which aspect of the party they're doing because since it's all at my house I can't let my daughter see any hint of party stuff.
I have to play dumb and let them all plan a typical Mothers Day yet behind the scenes there's a lot going on.
I know the day will be awesome and we'll be singing and celebrating for all different milestones.
I'm more excited about the surprise part but I'll take my Mother's Day gifts too
I don't even know if I've managed to explain all this right but if I didn't....well there's a party happening here!

It is a bit difficult especially since the two people being surprised are the two I see all the time

@Marilynda1225 Oh goodness yes - maybe it would be a good idea to take a vacation somewhere until the festivities . Mum's the word (or is it mom ).

I just hope we can pull off the surprise part. If not, we'll still have a good time

Oh! A lot of exciting things to happen and it would be so tough to keep the mouth shut. I would die of stomach cramps keeping so much of secrets in my tummy . I am sure that it would be a memorable day

It's very hard for me because I'm a chatterbox by nature Just hope I don't slip and say something and ruin the surprise

you explained it perfectly. It is a tricky thing I see. What a wonderful family and day it will be. You may need to take something to settle all that excitement.

The hardest part is that both people are the ones I see all the time. My oldest daughter is always here and of course my youngest lives here.

I didn't know if I explained it without it being totally confusing and yes I agree that I'm trying to avoid any conversations about Mother Day
