Today was another day at the house in Louisiana. But it was a pretty easy day. My husband wanted to go get some of the shelves that I used out in my aviary there and put in the storage shed (shipping container). He wants to "get organized." I don't know why this couldn't wait until we brought the trailer over there but, I went along with the plan. I emptied out the last two top closet shelves and packed up what we wanted to keep or send to the flea market. I also helped him load the shelves into the back of his truck. I brought a two-tier metal rack that I will sand down and paint and use it outdoors for plants. I also brought one of the Igloo dog houses. He didn't like this move, but I said it goes to the flea market. It was originally an $89 dog house; I don't want to throw it away. We ended the day by stopping at Sonic on the way home for a burger and fries for dinner. Fast food is getting more disgusting by the day. Sonic used to be a winner, but tonight our burgers were greasy. Overall, the day was pretty good! Not a lot of hard work, but we managed to get a bit more done in the big picture of it all. Tomorrow will be a work day around the house. He plans to put the shelves together and organize. I bet he doesn't get too far on his project.
