Doing My Part for the Atmosphere

Granted, it is a small bit I did for the atmosphere today. I planted two Leland Cypress trees in our backyard to compliment the two Eastern Cypress I planted a couple of years ago.
The nursery I bought them from is owned by a friend. The saplings I bought were last year's stock and twice as tall as the new ones they just got in.
Planting took less than an hour. As you can see by the one on the right, which is actually on the left in the yard, I had to clear away some of the wild grape vine to make room for it.
I hope you've had a good day and wish you a great tomorrow.

They grow really tall. We planted a few over ten years ago and in the past two years, my husband trimmed them.

Nice. It's the best thing that everyone could do to help clean our air.
Each person that plants a tree contributes a little bit. If people talked about it less and actually did something more than online ranting, we'd all be better off. Planting a tree is actual action that's beneficial.
In my 35 years here, I have planted a half dozen fruit trees, a maple, a spruce and a willow tree. I have done my entire property line in arborvitae and put in 30 boxwood along the ditch.
I had to take out several cedar and hemlock after a bad storm 30 years ago.
