Been a busier Sonday than usual. Today after church, the gentelman who drives me to church drove me to my house, where I met up with my brother, who brought me out to the backyard. Mom's dolls that were back there were in boxes, and he wanted me to go through them and pick any that I wanted to keep/sell and leave them in the shed and put any destined for the dumpster out in front of the shed. So, I did that--actually found a couple of my childhood dolls in the mix (Mom made two, Grandma made the other if memory serves). One of the dolls I took to a neighbor's house, as I didn't want it, but I thought they might like it. After I'd gone through the dolls, my brother said he and his girlfriend would be by with the ones I'd picked. I didn't get to see one of the neighbors I would have liked to see, and one I stopped at didn't come to the door, but I did stop and visit awhile with my old next-door neighbor, who is preparing to move because her husband recently passed away. I stopped and visited one more neighbor on the side street before heading home. When I came onto a main street close to home, I normally would have gone down the path that runs both next to the creek and behind the apartment complex, but a dog Angel and I know came racing over to see me, so I stopped and talked to his dad for a bit. When I finally did get home, I took Angel for a walk, visited with another friend of ours, and now I'm done. Oh--before I started this post I called my boss to let her know I would be there tomorrow. My brother said he'd drop the dolls I chose to keep/sell this evening with his girlfriend. Don't know exactly when that will be. The photo is of the dolls, but while they were still in boxes in/by the backyard shed. Actual photos when I'm able to !

Unless the dolls you don't want are moldy or dismembered, why not take them to a shelter rather than a dumpster?

I hope you can sell the ones you do not want to keep.
