I have been busy participating in the CAL (crochet along) events, and also taking rest because of headache. Finally, I am feeling well today after having headache for a few days. I found out this challenge (AmiguruMay) last year. It is actually an Instagram challenge in May with daily prompts regarding amigurumi (knitting or crocheting of stuffed yarn creatures). I managed to make two posts only last year. I wonder if I will write more this year. The first prompt is "Hello AmiguruMAY!" I was thinking what to share and I saw my two creations just in front of me. I have always been making toys for my children but rarely crochet anything for myself. These are the very few items for myself - a pincushion which I need very often while I sew and an orange rhino. The orange rhino is to remind myself to yell less and love more. (It was actually a challenge from TheOrangeRhino website.) But now the rhino has become my paperweight. I didn't realize May was already here. I still haven't think much about what to do this month, except a few dolls to be made. Do you have any plans for May? Picture by me: pincushion + The Orange Rhino

Your orange rhino is so cute! Is he playing with the pincushion? Nope, no plans for May. I'm glad you're feeling better.

@prashu228 I'm well enough. Is your mom finally going to make you do something to help in the garden?

I plan to cast my vote on May 9 coz it's the presidential election and it's going to be a historical one because of the candidates running for the position. I can only pray for peace in my country and may righteousness and honesty win.

I think your Orange Rhino is very cute! You did a good job. What I want to do in May - make some more earrings, make some more cards, do some more painting. But unfortunately my Step-Dad's sister and brother-in-law have invited themselves round again one day this month (rude) and they've decided to invite themselves round on a Tuesday afternoon thinking it will be more convenient for us. (!) No, it will NOT be more convenient! In fact it will be very much more INconvenient! By the way, how do you make the text bold or italic? I never did find out how to do that!

@kaka135 Good morning and thank you very much. Yes, that is so true. Art is very therapeutic. Ah, if we just told them how we felt about them inviting themselves round they would think that was rude. You know last time they invited themselves round I decided they could take us as they found us and I didn't move stuff off the seat beside me on the sofa and I didn't move the table that's in front of it. When they had gone, they wrote a letter complaining that our house was a mess and next time they come please can they have somewhere to sit! There were plenty of places for them to sit, they didn't need that one seat! (Which by the has a pile of Doctor Who magazines on it!) Thank you very much for telling me how to make things bold italic and underlined! Have a great day.
