This Monday Can BITE Me!

Besides the fact that I am a bit tired this morning after making a quick jaunt to Milwaukee for the weekend—we left on Saturday morning and got back in last night around 7ish PM—I was running a bit late this morning... And we have stock order today which always sucks. No two ways about it. To top it off we already knew the boss would not be in today since he had a field trip to chaperone for his son's class, so we are shorthanded to count the order down. We were also informed that the entire Dallas sales office is shut down due to Covid and so us, along with a couple other of our branches, will have to handle the call volume for Dallas along with our own calls, AND try to get stock order counted down at the same time. This Monday can bite me!

Happy Monday ! Sounds like it's gonna be a tough one, but hopefully it will be a better day than anticipated. A lot of companies seem to be short handed these days .

@porwest Oh man . . . well hopefully things are better now that it's NOT Monday. The week is now half over . . . yay for that, right? But then there is the issue of the upcoming Monday .

@porwest. Believe it or not l have always liked Mondays because l find weekends boring. Mondays make me feel vibrant and ready to tackle new challenges.

We have similar issues at my office. Although, rather than being because others are not available, it's more because everyone that doesn't know what to do comes to us. I'm not at work today as it's a public holiday here. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow, though, as there will be a pile of work that hasn't been looked at. It's the same every time there is a long weekend. It's great to have those days off but it's not fun coming back to the extra work!

My job is like that too. The work doesn't just go away. Even if I take a vacation I come back to piles of things that need to be done.
