What a Feeling......

No conditions, complete acceptance..... Letting someone be just who they are and not expecting more. We sometimes confuse it with the expectation of a person acting and speaking just how we want.
The true feeling is selfless. We live in the moment and are present with them. The feeling of fulfillment comes from caring for the other person.
Care goes deep into this feeling. There is also attraction, affection, and trust. Behaviors that are characterized by passion and commitment.
We don't really care for those we feel we need to change. We are using them to make us happy and they need to be a certain way. That isn't the true feeling.
It is benevolent and the feeling of happiness we get from it is in caring for others.

I wish I had someone to care for. I haven't had a boyfriend since I was 12. I'm now 52.

That is sad. Do you really want a boyfriend?

@celticeagle Yes, absolutely. It's not just want it's need because I don't know what will happen when my Mum and step-dad are gone if I'm not married.

@mythociate Well, it's hard because I'm a Christian and I want a Christian husband and there are not many illegible fellas coming into Church at the moment. I do frequent a pub in town on a Friday most weeks, but if I met someone there, I don't know if they'd be a Christian. You see my problem.

With all his faults, I accept and love my husband for who he is.
