If the forecast holds for next week...

We'll be going from pre-spring temps to summer temps. Other than a day or two here and there of sixties or seventies most of our temps have been forties and more recently fifties. But, next week they are supposed to be in the eighties.
That will help our trees start to bud. This is the first year that not many trees are green yet. Usually by the first of may there are at least some buds.
The flower is my daffodils which are now starting to die. But at least they lasted awhile first.

It looks like after this week the temps will come back down again. And our state could still get a deep frost.

@MarshaMusselman We are cool today, only 62 for the high. That is cool for May. I love this weather.

I enjoy all flowers except those on picky stems, but those I can enjoy from afar.

Probably from all the cold nights we've had.

Daffodils are so pretty and definitely a sign of spring. Our weather has been on the colder side for spring so I wouldn't be surprised if we went right into summer and hot weather.

After next week we'll have some colder nights again and more normal days. It was an up and down winter and early spring. I hope it's not an up and down summer with the temps too.

They looked to be dying when I wrote this but they're still hanging in there.

They are a spring flower so they won't bloom again until next spring.
