About 40 days ago I planted about ten plants of brinjal and ten plants of chilli in my vegetable garden. Some of them died but most of the brinjal plants survived. Today, the mother of the children, showed me some brinjals, and said with a wide smile on her face, " These are the fruits of your labour!" She cut the brinjals in round pieces and fried them in a pan. She served them in our lunch! They tasted delicious to my tongue! Can you guess why? Image: pixabay
