Have you heard of or seen this tree? This guy, Sam Van Aken who is a professor of Sculpture at Syracuse University in New York, has produced this fruit tree that produces 40 different types of fruit. The fruit includes peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, cherries, and most recently almonds. It looks like a normal fruit tree until spring when it breaks out in an array of different hued blossoms. Learn about this tree, the man that created it, and the culture behind so many fruits that were all brought to the U.S. from other countries. Over 250 types of fruit have been becoming extinct due to industrial production taking over planting acreages for decades now. You can learn all about it here: Image courtesy of Adobe free images.

That’s amazing.you could plant a few trees an have an orchard. Are would each tree have to have all the different fruit trees grafted on?
