So our friend Faith had her baby shower recently.
Both my friend Chris and I are broke right now. It's been a tough beginning of the year lol.
We decided jointly that we would do a bottle decoration for Faith and a blanket ladder.
This is the baby bottle that we did for her and she loved it.
I think it turned out really well.
The wording and decorations on it took me about an hour to do. Longer than I thought it would take but it was worth it.
The flowers were a last minute addition.

When you have some extra money, go to Walmart and look down the clearance aisle. I pick up baby stuff and store them in a drawer in my kitchen. When a friend is expecting a new baby either I pick out a few items to give them or I let them look through the drawer and pick some items out of it for themselves. (I have stuff year round that way and there's always plenty of items to choose from in the drawer.)

I usually have things around for occasions but we wanted to do something more personal with our friend. We agreed the personalized bottle and a blanket ladder worked and it would be a joint present.
I'm working on doing one for a girl to put up for sale now.

@JordanLader I don't usually bother with "personal". Most men don't. *shrug*

@DaddyEvil Mine does if he likes the person lol. We're not real close to Faith so it was personal but to her. It's her due month and year. He helped pick out the baby designs on the back of the bottle.

The flowers made a great addition. What's a blanket ladder?

@JordanLader so the blankets can be looked through the rings and displayed?

@MarshaMusselman yeah. I think I posted one on here before when Chris first made one. She made another one for a friend and for herself that I may post. I have a picture of hers but not the one she made for a friend.

It's a ladder like design that holds blankets. Usually just leans up against the wall but you could anchor it if you want. We don't include the hardware for that though.

Yup. I'll really have to post the picture. I think I posted the original once already but I need to show off the one she has in her house. It's a thing down here so I'm surprised it's not actually known in mylot world.
