Cervical cancer

I googled my situation and it said it could be cervical cancer. The Dr says it looks as if I have cervical cancer. I don't want treatment but she wants me to see the specialist soon.
At least I have lived 52 years. My mom will be upset but I hope she knows I don't want stress. Kay will have to figure out life without me.23 people like this

Sharon, please don't believe what you read on line. See the specialist and go from there. It may not be as bad as it sounds...you'll be in my prayers. God truly does love you and cares about whatever is going on.

It was the Dr that said it this was the second Dr now Monday I see a 3rd specialist. I am just not up for this kind of stuff.

You might as well see the specialist and see what they have to say. It is probably not as dire as you are thinking. It's best to make decisions when you have all the information. Fingers crossed for ya!

I am not up for all these dr visits they are so invasive I am really emotional about this type of dr

@sharon6345 You might just need something like a DNC or freezing and removing the cells. There are lots of ways to treat this and some may not be horrible. However, I hear you, it is uncomfortable and no fun.

Go get more answers. Caught early most are easy to treat anymore if that what it is.

They told me about 7 years ago it was this. I know treatment would be too late and I don't want it regardless.

If it's cervical cancer, I truly hope it's benign and nothing to worry about.
My mother had that too when she was younger, thank God it was benign and she got it removed, no extra treatment required. Whatever that is, I wish you and your family lots of serenity and happiness.

I think you should see the oncologist. Don't take it lightly if you have a family. Moreover the whole thing is going to be painful.

First of all, I am sorry about the cancer. Who is Kay? You are still very young and with the right person helping you hopefully you can go into remission and live a long life. The decision is up to you. It is up to you on whether you want to pursue something further or not. I have no idea what I would do in your shoes.
