We may have a storm

I hear thunder in the back ground. I guess we may have a storm. Hopefully it will just be this morning, as Jane and I were going to the lake for coffee around three this afternoon. I wish I had something yummy already prepared for breakfast, like a coffee cake, but I do not. It looks pretty dark out there.I am glad I got some mowing and weeding done. Tomorrow I will take most of the day off to see the hand doctor again. He has helped me a lot.

We are looking forward to rain and a cool front to come thru tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime it is unseasonably hot and sunny. I am sore today as I got a nasty sunburn on my arms and face yesterday. I have to research a natural way of cooling those areas down today.

@marlina Thank you, it aches me today. I may have to take another cool shower as that at least feels nice and allows some of the heat to escape from the burned areas.

The day was nice, no storm. We went to a city park though as Jane said it was windy. I did not think so. It was a good visit.

Hand doctor suggests surgery, or cortizone shots, or just wait. I choose wait. I think when I am not working at my job my inflammation will decrease.

Well it is carpal tunnel plus ulnar compression. I really prefer conservative treatment. I believe it will improve when summer arrives and I am not at work. I use and over use my hands and arms and wrists in doing my job. I need some other people who know how to do all these things so I strain less.

I do have arthritis at the base of my thumbs but he is seeing me for carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel on both arms. I believe I have to change my job duties to rest it and get better. I also have some compression in my shoulder and a pinched nerve.

Kansas needs the moisture, but we prefer no wildfires caused by lightning strike and no storm damage either.

@GardenGerty thunderstorms are not all that common in our part of New Brunswick….now wind is not unusual, but. O thing like the constant wind we experienced in Kansas a few years ago.
