Got my new eyeglasses last night

I'm wearing my new eyeglasses this time. I'm still adjusting. I got it yesterday afternoon at 4. We learned from the clinic it was done May 7 and texted me, but never had I received a single text. It's me who keeps on texting the optical clinic but messages were not delivered. It seems they're blocking incoming messages and calls. My sister keeps on calling them, but only the ringing no one receiving the call. That was what we told the optometrist. My sister got mad. She knew I need the eyeglasses badly. Hoping my head no longer aches. I noticed my eyes didn't get tired when I used my laptop. I pray I won't anymore feel dizzy.

Avoid to use the computer for too long the first week, you need to adjust to your new eyeglasses little by little.

@LadyDuck, yes thanks. I notice at 8 in the evening I'm already sleepy but wakes up at 3 am. I used to spend 5 to 6 hours sleeping.

@LadyDuck, yes that's true I didn't use the computer for 2 weeks now and seldom use my celfon too. I'm still so afraid.

A bit of a hassle, but I'm glad you finally got them! I hope your new glasses get rid of those headaches - my sister went through that too. Hopefully it helps with everything.

@much2say, yes, it helps but easily gets exhausted when looking at screen. I only spend some minutes but tomorrow I have classes whole day. I don't know if I will be okay 4 subjects.

@RubyHawk, I can see well even if no eye glasses. My problem is my head aches and feel dizzy with the expired eyeglasses. My eyes no longer painful when I read on screen but for a matter of two hours only.

@cacay1 I have a new prescription for glasses but I’m hesitant t get it filled . I’m afraid I won’t be as able to see as well as with my old ones.

That was so unprofessional of the eye clinic. It is totally justified that you and your sister were mad with them. I hope that you get adjusted to the new eyeglasses soon.

@arunima25, yes it was almost a week on stand by in their clinic. I'm still adjusting my eyeglasses. I have to avoid prolong use of a computer and celfon.

That is good you got your new eyeglasses. I know how important it is. I am near-sighted, but I don't often wear my eyeglasses. Usually I need it when I watch TV or go shopping.
