I just got the kids up and bus ready. I'll post this and then I'll go back to bed for an hour or two before we fo he officially start our day.
It rained it's butt off in the middle of the night. I hope it's done with that for the day. We have to pick a bed up at ten am. And I don't really want to mess with that during a rain storm.

Good morning. I hope your weather clears up now. There was a bit of a downpour here a minute ago, but it's stopped now. Thank goodness I don't have to go out anywhere today. I hope you have a nice day.

It's summer vacation time here. So, no waking up early to get things ready for school or leaving to school for work. I will have to do that from the second week of June

And I'm sure that the younger kid will still wake me up early even during summer.

@thislittlepennyearns I can relate to that. My daughters did the same when they were young. I guess that young mothers don't get a real vacation

Good morning! I'm waiting for those storms to come through here today. Meanwhile, I'm having my coffee and trying to catch up here a bit since I didn't spend very much time here over the weekend.

I remember those days of getting up early to get the kids off to school, and then going back to bed. I am NOT a morning person, but since my mother never got up with us when I was growing up, I always wanted to be up in the mornings for my children...even if it was just to kiss them goodbye and wish them a good day.

I used to stay up after I got them up, but now I usually try to get another hour of sleep in or something
