Vote buying

It is illegal to do vote buying but no one gets caught because no witness. We just heard in the market Bongbong Marcos paid 5,000 pesos in residents of many housing projects for the poor. My family receive 2,000 each so since we are 6 we had 12,000 pesos last election and it's from Sara Duterte. No wonder they won the election. We said next election we will not do it again

All I know is that it has been going for many years. We don't usually involve ourselves with vote buying only this time. The Commission on Election does not allow vote buying but no one is caught in the act and the government find it hard to trace who are doing it

That sounds unfortunate. Sad that people misuse power and money to get the gullible voters. It's not a good sign for a healthy democracy.

I just wonder where they get all that money where it came from? There is a lot of money involve in higher government service
