Unidentified frozen object was my breakfast this morning. I wanted a breakfast sandwich and I knew I had several in the freezer. I have this habit of eating a few in a box getting tired of them, and putting them in the freezer. What this one was I really couldn't tell you. I am wondering if maybe roomie put it in there. It didn't seem like something I would buy some kind of sweet dough with sausage I guess. Well it tasted good. Maybe I should start labeling things in there so I know what it is..Do you ever find undidentified frozen objects in your freezer?

It happens that the label I paste on the package fell and I cannot remember what there is inside.

@LadyDuck Yes, enough is enough and too much is too much. I am going to buy some ice cream today, but I will try to buy nothing else frozen, unless i see something exceptional. Going to Aldi by the way..and a few other places.

@snowy22315 I should to the same, but both the freezers are too full of stuff. I have to stop buying and start to eat what I have inside.

Occasionally I'll find an unidentified Tupperware container of something in the freezer but I started labeling thngs so that wouldn't happen. It does make life easier but then again it takes the fun out of trying to identify something you find in there

We try to label everything but it can happen. My parents can't read well so they often rely on the looks of the package and mistook sloppy joe for ragu sauce once. Not a big deal perhaps. Glad the unidentified sandwich tasted good at last.

Yes, it was fine thankfully. I am probably going to clean the freezer this weekend. It is going to be very hot and will be trapped inside at least for Friday and Saturday so good thing to do.

Oh...I thought there was an unidentified item in your breakfast not for your breakfast. Yes, I find things in my freezer all the time so I've gotten better at making up the package it's in. I also date things including things like spaghetti sauce when we don't use all of it.

@snowy22315 I've done that too. When they begin having ice crystals in the bag is time to throw it out. I'm guessing that ice crystals is the same as freezer burn? I label with the date and what's in the bag.

It's better to label your stuff there in the refrigerator if you are sharing it with your roomie. I don't face that problem of unidentified object. Yes,,on deep freeze cleaning that happens weekly I might find some food that I kept there and totally forgot about.

I used to have a lot of things like that in the freezer but I try to keep less in it now so I know what is what. Plus I hate freezer burn.

I always think I'll know what stuff is when I put it in the freezer but it can look totally different once it's frozen.
