Hello all
Well, we are halfway through the week, and I am just getting around to posting. It has been quite the week.
Got gas this morning at $4.34 a gallon and the expensive place around here is at $4.99 a gallon. I thought moron said he was doing something to help the prices. Here I though he meant to help bring them down, but I guess he meant help them go even higher.
Next week our regular supervisor should be back to work, and I cannot wait, I have had enough of this fill in. I talk myself into not walking out every day. Just two more days to get through, I’m pretty sure I can do it.
The weather here has turned chilly again and I have to say I like it better than those 90-degree days when it was so hot and humid. This morning it was a nice 49F (9 C) and our high right now is at 57F (13C). Yep, already changed to wearing short so it was a little chilly this morning.

Hang in there! You can make it a few more days until your sup gets back!
Our MST team at my Lowe's store was bummed today because they found out that their sup is getting moved to another store to clean up the mess the other team has become. He's an awesome leader and everyone hates to see him go. Even all of the Red Vests (regular store associates).

@Bensen32 I've come to accept that good managers never stick around for long. If they're good, they're going to get promoted or moved around to places where they can make the biggest impact. We just lost our best ASM for that very reason. They sent her to an underperforming store because she is good at turning things around.

@moffittjc Yeah, we are losing 3 good ones with in the next month, two are being promoted and moving to other stores and one her husband got a promotion for another company and they are moving so she is transferring out of state.
Things are going to get pretty bad on the store side with all 3 of them moving on.
