Talk with Dad

Philippines
May 18, 2022 9:16pm CST
It was such rainy afternoon. Then all of a sudden dad called and we had a chat. Well, I missed him we haven't really talk much these days. Then I found out that He got admitted to hospital twice, didn't say what was his condition was. But I was shocked that he admitted to have his kidney recovered and stop his dialysis. That's a huge miracle, compare to my classmate who didn't made it after a year of having dialysis here for a year. I envy him though for having to loose weight because he got foods that he couldn't eat anymore. I feel and doubt I can reach his age, he's strong. Have a nice day.

I am so glad to know that your Dad feel better and he is recovering. Pay attention to what you eat and you will reach his age. How old is your Dad?

@Letranknight2015 - My husband is already 76, he is very thin now, but it's good not to have extra weight.

Congratulations to your dad. He must be doing something right. I’ve never known of anyone going off dialysis once it’s started.

It was shocking @RubyHawk because I thought once they have done, it's forever and would stop unless there's a transplant. It's a miracle.

Happy to know that he survives those two confinements. I just hope that he should always be wary about his health since there is no assurance his life will be okay. I just lost an aunt today, I learned that she had an operation on her neck and yesterday she passed away just like that.

@Letranknight2015 From what I heard it was thyroid problem. When they opened it up they saw that the condition was way much worse since it was cancerous already. They closed it up since they couldn’t do anything anymore afnd after sometime she passed away.
