Lawn help

The kids wanted to help with the lawn. Well our battery to our electric one ran out today so I have to charge it again but we do have a cheap push mower old school kind which is safe for any of our kids to use. So I had them each taking turns cutting the front yard because the grass wasn’t there thick up front like the back yard is. It was hard for the 7 year old but he see it as it’s the scoutly thing to do after being stuck inside since yesterday and his little freedom to be back outside I let him have at it and run like crazy. The mowing must have helped because all 3 kids went down to bed super easy tonight.

We have a manual mower (also a gas powered mower), because my husband thought it would have been fun. Well it used it only one time. Wasted money.

We haven’t had a gas one in several years it’s easier with an electric one because we can charge the batter and use it where we want no need to go get gas or hope that nobody steal with gas had that happen once as well as someone steal use our mower and brought it back so now we have an electric it has a key no key can’t use it even if you have the battery

@LadyDuck we are in a townhouse so we don’t have much yard to being with so it’s pointless for gas ones. There are people that have gas ones just here is no storage areas really in townhouse most don’t have driver way.

@ShyBear88 The mower is inside the garden room all the time I do not use it. The electric one is fine for the flat lawn just outside the family room, it's not powerful enough for the rest of the garden, that is on a hillside.

I don’t care if they help with the yard work or not.

@Babino why is it lucky for them? It’s not like the make the grass grow or something.

That is nice to see the kids getting some work cutting the lawn and getting some good exercise in the process.

Lol the weather is warm so they are always asking to play outside when the weather is good. They don’t have many weeks left of school.
