Oklahoma is banning almost all abortions

Here we go again. The Oklahoma legislature passed a bill banning ALLl abortions except for medical emergencies or in the case of rape or incest that has been reported to law enforcement. I do not understand why women vote for people who want to control their bodies. What's next? Forcing women to be surrogates for couples who cannot have a baby themselves? I am curious about the rape/incest thing that has to be reported to law enforcement. Do you just have to file a report or do you have to wait for the police to investigate it? Do you have to wait until someone is tried and convicted? That seems like a good way to drag out the process say 9 months or so.
Oklahoma's legislature on Thursday passed a bill that would ban abortions from the moment of fertilization and allow private citizens to sue abortion providers who "knowingly" perform or induce an abortion "on a pregnant woman."

@TheSojourner Thats shocking. Although in Brechin that would most likely be the case as well

And in the case of incest many of those are kids and they are too scared to say anything until it would be too late anyways. So they know most of those will be born.

I can't believe that this is happening. I don't understand why they're in power. Like you, I don't understand why women would vote for people who pass these bills and such.

This is so frustrating to me. I live in a country where you can go to jail for inviting a guy over. Needless to say, abortion is illegal here too.
