Beautiful Day To Be Outside Today

Gone again most of the day today. Got a lot done. Always glad to get back home. The cats are too. Actually, they sleep the entire time I am gone. I think they miss me, but I check the security camera and see them snoozing. Snapped this photo from inside the car. Such a beautiful day to be outside. Still a little warm but nice just the same with a breeze all day. Leftovers in the frig. That will help. No cooking tonight. Hoping to relax and find something to watch later on tv. Saw the finale of The Good Doctor last night. I had previously recorded it. Not too bad. And next week Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago Police will all have their finales. I am working on getting a few shows recorded to watch when these shows go off. This time of year, when the shows start leaving for a few weeks, there is just not much on decent to watch any more. With more daylight the next few months, there will be less tv watching anyway. So it will all work out. Enjoy your evening. I will try to do the same. Photo is mine.

We are expecting temps in the higher 80's tomorrow.

Thanks, I love this area. So many places like this are now covered in huge $1million homes unfortunately. 90s today and better tomorrow with rain hopefully. Spring seems to have been short lived this year.

Beautiful scene. It's way too hot out for either me or Roscoe, we're both in here enjoying the swamp cooler but at least it's only 92f instead of 100f and the humidity is at 6%

I am sad when I see subdivisions developing, it means wildlife will be displaced or destroyed and that breaks my heart.

@CarolDM That's one of the reasons we wanted to switch to DISH with their new DVR...it automatically skips the commercials...but they were #$@^@!.

We had the threat of severe weather all afternoon, so I didn’t venture outside. It was a little warm, too, so I walked at the gym track instead of outside (which I’d been doing this week). It’s funny how we think they’re so worried about us, but in reality most of the time they just curl up and go back to sleep, then act like they really missed us when we get home.

We are having a grey day here and the forecast was for rain. A good excuse to avoid the garden. In the last nine days, I have been out there four times, so I don't feel guilty! Should be nice again for Sunday, so time for a bike ride

Wow, that's a lot of "Chicago" stuff you will be watching. Glad you're able to record things for later so you can watch ut when ut's most convenient for you. Remember when we were little that was not an option and if you missed it on TV in its weekly spot, you were out of luck? Times sure have changed!

I watch it every week. It is better than anything else on right now. Recording is the best way, skip through the commercials. Many things have changed for sure.
