Another flavor combination

Evidently berries with citrus are a thing. For years I have seen the combination of blueberry and lemon, but I have never made anything with that combination. That changes today. In the oven is a coffee cake or breakfast bread I guess you would call it. I started with my homemade corn bread recipe, but added extra flour. I added lemon juice, lemon extract and doubled the sugar. Then I stirred in a big cup full of frozen blueberries. It is in the oven now. Maybe I will have a piece before work. It would probably be tasty with a lemon glaze, but I would have to let it cool first. So, cranberry orange, or blueberry lemon, do you like either one of those?

@LadyDuck I put apples in my cranberry sauce, sometimes. Occasionally I put jalapeno or cinnamon in cranberries as well.

@GardenGerty I often prepare strawberries in orange juice (instead of lemon) no sugar is needed and they taste so good. Cranberries and apples are also good and rhubarb and strawberries is an interesting taste.

I've never tried either of these but both sound very tempting.

I hope to perhaps make lemon/lavender treats when the lavender blooms. They are really "soothing".

Have you made anything with blueberry and lemon? Or tried any?
