I went to Kohl's today and came home with a great deal

I went in there looking for a spiralizer as I need one for tomorrow meal. I used to have two small hands held ones but they hurt when your have arthritis in your hands. My sister showed me one she has and I found something similar. When I first saw it I checked the price. 54.99. I wasn't prepared to spend that much so I put it back. I walked around a bit and picked it back up knowing I wouldn't travel to the next city over to try to find one there. On the way to finding an open register I saw small pans with racks on top that I can use with my air fryer. Those were almost twenty dollars. I explained to the cashier that I almost didn't get it because of the price but she discovered that the spiralizer was on sale for 27.00 and the small pan set for nine dollars. So I got both for less than the original price of the spiralizer. A win-win for me.

That's fantastic! I needed potting soil, looked for it online, and found Walmart had rollback on it. Joyous feeling came over me! Got it and the last Simply Light Orange Juice! We both got what we wanted at good prices!

What does rollback mean? Did they 'rollback'the price meaning put it in sale?

@oahuwriter I'm not in Walmart much since I get a discount of retail items in my own store.

@MarshaMusselman Rollback is Walmart's term for discount price. When Walmart opened on Oahu, I had to learn it too.

Now that's the kinda deal we should all get .... well, on the kinds of things each would want.

It would be nice to get good sales but all a store would have to do is jack up the regular price and then have everything on sale every day. Eventually we would want a better sale as that doesn't sound reasonable or normal even.

If you watch the prices during September you'll notice they hike them up then come either black friday or Christmas they bring those prices back down and call it a sale

I got two that day and two pairs of shoes for free at the show store because I washed the store owners windows last year and this year and bartered them.

I don't really believe in luck but I will call or my day off blessings or maybe I should say week is blessings. Because Saturday I finally went to the shoe store. I was their windows and also the windows of the homeowner and will sometimes barter either for shoes. I was prepared to pay half but she told me I should be charging more for her house and gave me two pairs. One are sandals for a wedding and the other a paid for work,

@JudyEv it's so hard to tell when trying them on. I hope they fit well when wearing them. I'm hoping to remember to take an extra pair of shoes too work in case they need to be broken in.

@MarshaMusselman Oh good. And also good to hear about the cleanup. Sometimes those appliances can be more trouble to cleanup that they are worth. Glad to hear Marsha.

Nice that you said something or the cashier may have just put it through at the other price. How nice to find it was on sale.

This time I used it to make an egg bake, similar to a quiche but without the crust.

I love when things like that happen. It's always nice when things like that do. It never hurts to check.

I'll have to remember to check in the future. I can always change my mind on the purchase. Or store has scanning stations through the store where you can check the prices while shopping.
