Hike day!

While my husband took our boys on a hike my 9 year old had a Den meeting the last one for this part of the year because they take summer off. Since he two girls have hurt knees we choice walk around the pound and the big flat trail. Original I was going to do the hike with the boys but since my knee needs a few days off from doing anything stressful it was best for me to kind of sit out. Us girls got back in the car after a good 30 minutes in the sun to rehydrate and get some cool air my husband called. I answered the phone thinking they where done and wanted to see if we where heading back to the car. Nope turned out our 9 year old throw up and was like sick sick. He told me to drive the car some where to meet them which I did very carefully since I didn’t have my wallet on me. I wasn’t expecting to be driving today. We got home so he could rest and it just looks like a 24 hour stomach bug.

I miss hiking. It's one of the activities we have had during our scouting days.

The kids do lots we live where there is tons of trails all around

@Nakitakona why would I keep them in scouts if the y didn’t like it? I don’t make my kids do any activities I always ask them first is it’s something they want to try or participate in? My oldest and only daughter that is a 11 decided over summer last year that she didn’t want to do Girl Scouts any more so we dropped and didn’t sing up for a renewal at the end of the season. The rule in the house is if you start it you finish it. At the end if you don’t like it we won’t do it any more but I’ve paid for this time frame so your going. Other wise then that my kids are free to pick and choice. My 7 year old watched his brother for 3 years so BS and wanted to do it so bad so when he was in kindergarten last year he started and was supper excited
