My youngest as supper excited this afternoon! He wanted me to take a picture of his first balloon that he blow up by himself with his own air. I told him good job and to go outside to take a picture. He was getting ready for a water balloon fight but felt the need to try to blow up a fire with air instead of water.

Awesome! I'm sure your son was super excited about this! It reminds me of something different but similar when I was a child. I could never blow my own bubbles when chewing gum, I would always hand my gum out of my mouth to my mom and ask her to blow a bubble for me, and then I would run around showing everyone like I blew my own bubble with my gum! But I still very clearly remember the day that I finally was able to blow a bubble myself without any help! It was like a crowning moment for me, and I thought I was the greatest kid ever because I could now blow my own bubbles when chewing gum! lol

He learned how to blow bubble gum before his siblings as well as snapping but he can’t whistle but his siblings can.

@moffittjc my 7 year old makes this fake whistling sound with his a high pitched squeal and we are all like don’t do that. But blowing bubbles seems to be a thing that all of the kids will master, right next to bikes. I can’t ride a bike for the life of me.

It's a great thing for your son. Yes, there are a few things about our kids which make us feel happy. The first day when my son started whistling of his own was something memorable for him and me.

Lol I got three kids and really I could care less if he does or doesn’t know how to blow a balloon. It’s not need to live.
