Anyway, today should be the last of the hot days and I will be glad to see them go. I am supposed to be meeting someone today to donate my old mattress pad which is a nice one, but I just don't need it anymore. Now, the thing that bugs me about this person other than the fact I havent heard from here this morning as she wanted me to drop it by her house which is nowhere near here. Are you kidding me?? She is getting something for free and she wants me to deliver it to her.? (with the cost of gas) Some people!! Since, I may go into town briefly, I offered to meet her there Geez, anyway if I dont hear from her I will donate it to the church that has the yardsale program. They will be glad to have it, and aren't a million miles away.

It should be the same here, we are waiting for the rain, it is cloudy now. Some people are incredible, you give it to her for free and she also want to be delivered!

Crazy..even if I was paying for something I would ask to meet them somewhere close to where they live. I wouldn't expect them to offer a delivery service. The only time I didn't was when I had heavy or big objects to sell.

@snowy22315 I would never expect to be delivered if I buy something used that is cheap. At most we can meet mid-way.

Some people are really inconsiderate/demanding. If you get something for nothing, you have to be prepared to pick it up.

Absolutely, especially with the price of gas these days

Regardless of the cost of gasoline, it is too much for someone to accept something for free and then request delivery of it. It would strike me as a dangerous set up and I would not feel comfortable going there. Follow your instincts and please be safe.

Of course she didn't know exactly where I lived, but where she was is a good half hour from here maybe more.

Nope, until I started selling things to locals, I never realized how man inconsiderate people there are in the world.

Yes! That's cool! There's some people out there, they're receiving it for free but they should be entitled also for a free delivery. You know what I mean, I am from customer service for online shopping for fashion. It's like the same.

You give a hand and they attempt to take the whole arm, very common. Good you have a plan B anyway.
