Rose Raindrops After Thunderstorms

Heavy thunderstorms overnight. Thunder and lightning started around 8:pm last night with tornado watches. Started up again around 11:pm. Wind and rain.
Glad it finally stopped with no damage. Just a few rose branches blown over in the garden. But I tied them back to the trellis just now. Should be fine. They will perk back up when they dry out a bit.
I peeked in the bluebird house and the babies seem fine as well. Glad they were protected inside a house from the wind and rain.
More rain later today as well. Works for me, keeps the temperatures down.
Photo is mine.

Superb photo. Captures the essence of the beauty of both the necessary rain and the rose.
There was severe weather around us, but it missed me again. God is protecting me until I can get my roof fixed.

Poor roses.
I enjoy the rain for the most part. And the thunderstorms. In July and August we will be wishing we had some of it.

It seems that our weather is the same.

Here rains have not become that heavy to droop flowers. This happens in the month of July and August.

@CarolDM Weather has become unpredictable throughout the World because of global warming. Here too rain comes in the month of June but this time it's earlier.

@aninditasen Not sure it is global warming. But I will always enjoy the cooler days after the rain.

We too are getting regular rain and it is good for the garden. We had some strong winds on Thursday night with thunderstorms. Two pots fell down but were safe .
Glad that the babies of bluebird were safe

@CarolDM . We don't have rain here since the last two days. It's bright sunny now but glad that the temperature is still cool.

Lovely roses, I am glad they survived and the babies as well, We also had some thundershowers and it was funny the thunder drove Mama Silky crazy and she was running around and was scaring Michelle and Ringo they had never seen mama run so fast

We really needed rain this week. Night before last we got a heavy-duty thunderstorm and lost power for a short while.

@CarolDM That's good to know. I thought, based on the picture, they're been ruined.

It's our rainy season but dust from the Sahara desert is keeping the rain away!!!
