Do You Follow Couponers?

I've been looking at a few couponers, well the Krazy Coupon Lady. She really comes up with some good deals. I liked the show Extreme Coupons. Of course, I never cared for having 100 toothbrushes. On YouTube there's a guy who is in his teens, and he is really involved in it. I've even looked at coupon sites where you can purchase coupons. Some purchase a lot of them. I won't be doing that, besides I think extreme couponing changed the whole game changed. We are doing ok Been raining, so I'll be checking with you later. Have a great day.

If I find coupons for what I need to buy I surely use them.

If it is a good coupon and need the item, then I would use it.

@marlina Same as you, I do not collect coupons just to buy things that I do not need, or that I usually do not buy.

Yes I have watched couponers. They make a full time job of collecting and cutting out coupons. I wonder how many newspaper and magazines they subscribe to to get all the coupons.

@RubyHawk Yeah, that's the only problem. I got a lot today from Subway, and Burger King. Just might try them out.

No, I never started 'following' couponers. But I used to doi a little bit of couponing (just 'cutting them all out of the coupon-section in the newspaper, and sharing any that I didn't want to use'). I also downloaded a couple browser extensions--CapitalOne Shopping & Coupert--that find online-coupons and let me apply them to purchases I make online!

I don't use coupons just to use them. If I need something, and I have a coupon for it, then I will use it when purchasing the product. But I won't just look through a bunch of coupons and then buy stuff I don't need just so I can save 25 cents. But, I understand that a lot of people do save tons of money by extreme couponing, and I'm not knocking those people at all. It's just not for me. I'm just a regular couponer! haha

Nothing at all wrong with that. I'm not an Extreme coupon person.

I used to watch Extreme Couponing. I had thought about doing that, but I have no space to hold all that stuff.

It was a good show, but going to the register, would actually do me in. I would be so afraid, I had messed up.

I used to watch Extreme Couponers. I think most people don't realize those people spend HOURS working on getting ready for their shopping trips and then spend several additional hours in the store. They may be getting a lot of things for free, but it's eating up a ton of their time. It's more or less equal to earning money at a regular job and then just spending it on groceries - you're trading your time for goods, either way!

@popciclecold I liked that they would often donate things like that to charity shelters, at least.

I do not look for coupons, I used to many moons ago when I lived in NYC and mom and I saved a lot, Now I just look for sales and products that come buy one get one free, Just as you wrote coupons there is an add on the site here for all kinds of coupons

I am not a coupons person myself. I only have some for when dining out at fast food places or etc where the deals look good. Otherwise, I won't keep any.

Yes. I do understand that we've wanted to save that's why we're looking for coupons. However, since, I'm working as a customer service representative in an online shopping for fashion, I just want to share something about this. Not all coupons are valid in some sites. Our customers deal with coupons got from other sites until they've found out when ordering to us, it became order unsuccessful and they're puzzled why it's unsuccessful. We've checked it and found out that the coupon is not valid.

The only coupons I seem to get are for products I don’t use…or save $.50 on product xyz….but the competitors product is priced $.95 less than the one the coupon is for. I have better things to do with my time.
