I Freaked Out

Last night I had a happenstance here that drove my anxiety level up to the red. It was a family issue which I won't go into. I had learned something I really did not want to know. I did think, however, that life as I have known it had surely gone down the proverbial tube. I reacted, and my reaction caused a reaction down the line. My grandson was the only calming influence between two old mentally deranged women.
My daughter was put to bed and I set up until 2 or 3a. in the morning thinking over my decisions thus far and what was to come.
This morning family members got up earlier than usual and everything was normal. I was a bit shocked but relieved to say the very least.

It pays to be calm on the height of the storm and gradually everything goes back to normal.

@celticeagle That's not a theory. It's reality. What law is that? I forgot.

It did work out. We just had a long talk about it. All is good. I just need to learn some tact which I never have.

Peace is the way to go. I come from Irish stock and I do get riled at times. Not often, thank goodness.

Actually it is quite healthy to blow a gasket now and them so that the old anxiety temperature gauge does not blow one's head off. That is my way of looking at it since I also deal with anxiety which is better kept on a very low level,

I deal with anxiety big time. It is as though I'm allergic to it. I do agree that it is good to blow a gasket occasionally. I just was worried about the outcome.
