Pro Bowl Changes / myLot

The NFL is considering a huge change to the Pro Bowl this year. How about a week long celebration of players instead of a game? Sounds good right? Especially if you've watched the Pro Bowl and seen how they actually play the game. I think it will change how the players are honored. For as long as I can remember it's always been a big honor to say that you were two time and three time pro bowler. I don't think it will carry the same weight anymore if you will be able to say it at all. I'm guessing that there's more to come as there really isn't a whole lot being said about it just yet. It's just a possibility. What do you think about it? *picture from google

I like the idea of having a game, but I don’t like what it’s become. There needs to be some kind of incentive tied to it, similar to what baseball did with their all-star game. Give the players a reason to play hard for the win.

They need to be able to actually play. I watched the pro bowl the year before last and I was so bored. There was little contact and no tackling. I know they don't want to hurt the players but come on.

@JordanLader I quit watching it years ago for that very reason. No one wanted to tackle or hit hard or do any kind of physical effort for fear of getting hurt. They need to find a way to fix that.

@moffittjc Maybe they should have it after the superbowl and then it wouldn't be an injury issue.
