Horror Strikes Yet Again

19 children and 2 adults were brutally murdered by an 18-year-old American (born in North Dakota) who legally purchased two assault rifles, several 30-round magazines, and hundreds upon hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
He shot his grandmother, who survived, before fleeing, crashing his truck, and then attacking the school.
Why would he buy 2 AR-style rifles two days after his 18th birthday and then go on a shooting spree? Would a magazine limit have prevented some of the deaths?
Nothing will limit the pain the families are feeling or the trauma the surviving kids suffered.

This happened before and it happened again. I hope this will not happen here in my country. Children are in danger even in school

Last I heard I think its up to 21. He had all of this planned and a magazine limit would have just meant he bought more from somewhere else if necessary

Nothing seems to be being done to stop all this mindless slaughter. It's just so very tragic.
